Thank you ! Flagler Habitat for Humanity was excited to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day with so many supporters from our community. Together the adults were able to frame all of the walls for our 61st home in Flagler County while the children constructed a house of cardboard complete with dog house and “plumbing”! In the true spirit of Martin Luther King Jr. it is always remarkable to see so many people, from different backgrounds, coming together toward a common cause of helping a family in need. Read more
Flagler Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry whose mission is to eliminate substandard housing from Flagler County, and to make simple, decent, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. We strive toward this goal by working with businesses, churches, clubs, organizations, volunteers, and partner families to build houses for and with those in need. This involves many, many people as we all work together, carrying on the wide variety of tasks necessary to make decent housing available to deserving families and individuals who otherwise would not be able to afford it. Since 1992 hundreds of supporters have generously donated to Flagler Habitat for Humanity. Habitat relies on its donors, volunteers, and homebuyers joining together to provide the financial and human resources needed to build affordable homes for qualified, low-income families. Through the faithful support of our partners, Flagler Habitat has built 64 houses in Flagler County. Read more
